Introduction

Welcome to Buildorado — the visual workflow builder for forms, payments, and automation.

Buildorado is a no-code visual workflow builder that lets you create multi-step forms, collect payments, automate business processes, and connect 30 integrations — all from a drag-and-drop canvas or a single AI prompt. Whether you need a simple contact form or a complex lead qualification funnel with conditional branching, payment processing, and CRM updates, Buildorado handles it without writing a single line of code.

This documentation covers everything you need to go from zero to a fully published workflow, including the form builder, workflow canvas, integrations, conditional logic, and embedding.

What Is Buildorado?

Buildorado is a hosted platform that combines three tools into one: a form builder, a workflow automation engine, and an integration hub. Instead of stitching together separate services for forms, payments, email, and data routing, you design the entire process on a single visual canvas.

Every workflow starts with one or more form nodes that collect user input. From there, you connect action nodes (send an email, charge a card, update a spreadsheet), branch nodes (route users based on their answers), AI nodes (summarize text, classify responses, generate content), and system nodes (loops, delays, HTTP requests, code execution). The result is a complete process your users interact with through a clean, branded form experience — while the automation runs silently in the background.

Because Buildorado is fully hosted, there is nothing to install or maintain. You build in the browser, publish with one click, and embed on any website or share via a direct link.

Key Capabilities

Visual Form Builder with 36 Field Types

The form builder supports text, email, phone, number, date, file upload, signature, rating, slider, rich text, address, and more. Every field includes validation rules, conditional visibility, and customizable appearance. You can split long forms into multiple steps with a progress indicator and theme them to match your brand.

Conditional Logic and Smart Branching

Conditional logic lets you create dynamic experiences. Show or hide fields based on previous answers, route users down different paths, and build decision trees with 35+ comparison operators and AND/OR logic groups. For example, you can send enterprise leads to your sales team while directing smaller accounts to a self-serve checkout.

Payment Processing with Stripe and PayPal

Accept one-time payments and subscriptions directly inside your workflows. The Stripe integration supports dynamic pricing based on form responses, so you can calculate totals on the fly. No separate checkout page needed — the payment step is part of the form flow.

30+ Native Integrations

Connect Buildorado to Slack, Google Sheets, HubSpot, Salesforce, Jira, Notion, Airtable, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Discord, Telegram, Microsoft Teams, and many more. Each integration authenticates via OAuth 2.0 and is available across all your workflows once connected.

AI-Powered Automation

AI nodes let you process submissions with GPT-4, Claude, image generation, speech-to-text, and vision analysis. Build autonomous agents that classify leads, summarize feedback, extract data from documents, or generate personalized follow-up emails — all inside the same workflow.

30+ System Nodes for Advanced Workflows

Logic nodes give you loops, merges, HTTP requests, code execution (JavaScript sandbox), delays, wait states, error handlers, sub-workflows, and more. These let you build enterprise-grade automations that handle retries, parallel branches, and complex data transformations.

Webhooks

Webhooks push real-time notifications to your systems when submissions arrive, payments complete, or workflows finish. Use the Webhook Trigger node to start workflows from external events, and the HTTP Request node to call any API.

What Can You Build with Buildorado?

Buildorado is flexible enough to handle a wide range of use cases. Here are some of the most common workflows teams build on the platform:

  • Lead qualification funnels — Multi-step forms that score and route leads based on budget, company size, and industry. High-value leads go to your sales team in Slack; everyone else gets a follow-up email sequence.
  • Payment collection flows — Stripe or PayPal checkout with dynamic pricing calculated from form answers. Useful for invoices, event tickets, service deposits, and product orders.
  • Client onboarding — Collect documents, signed agreements, contact details, and payment information in a single branded flow. Automatically create a record in your CRM and notify your team.
  • Event registration — Registration forms with calendar booking, payment, and confirmation emails. Connect to Google Calendar to block availability.
  • Surveys and feedback — Branching surveys that adapt based on responses. AI nodes can summarize free-text feedback and route negative sentiment to your support team.
  • Internal request forms — IT requests, PTO applications, expense approvals, and other internal processes. Route submissions to the right approver based on department and amount.
  • Document workflows — Collect file uploads, generate PDFs, request e-signatures, and archive everything in Google Drive or SharePoint.

How Buildorado Works: The 4-Step Process

1. Design Your Workflow

Open the visual canvas and drag form fields, logic branches, and action nodes into place. Use the form builder to configure each field with labels, validation rules, help text, and conditional visibility. Connect nodes with edges to define the flow. You can also describe your workflow in plain English and let the AI copilot generate it for you.

2. Connect Your Integrations

Wire up the services you already use. Go to Settings > Integrations to authenticate via OAuth, then drop action nodes onto the canvas to send data to Slack, Google Sheets, Stripe, HubSpot, or any of the 30+ supported services. For custom backends, use the HTTP Request node or configure webhooks.

3. Publish and Share

Click Publish to make your workflow live. Every published workflow gets a shareable link. You can also embed it on your website using an iframe or serve it from a custom domain. Preview mode lets you walk through the entire flow as a user before going live.

4. Analyze Your Results

Track submissions, conversion rates, and drop-off points from the dashboard. Export data as CSV, push it to Google Sheets in real-time, or query it through the API. Identify where users abandon forms and optimize your flows accordingly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to know how to code to use Buildorado?

No. Buildorado is a fully no-code platform. You build workflows by dragging and dropping nodes on a visual canvas, configuring them through a point-and-click interface, and connecting integrations via OAuth. If you do want to write code, the Code node gives you a JavaScript sandbox for custom data transformations, but it is entirely optional.

Is Buildorado free to use?

Buildorado offers a free tier that includes 3 workflows and 100 submissions per month. This is enough to build and test workflows, try out integrations, and publish simple forms. Paid plans unlock additional workflows, higher submission limits, custom domains, branding removal, and priority support. See the pricing page at buildorado.io/pricing for current plans.

How is Buildorado different from Typeform, JotForm, or Google Forms?

Traditional form builders stop at collecting data. Buildorado goes further by letting you build the entire process after the form: conditional routing, payment collection, AI processing, multi-step approvals, and 30+ integration actions. Instead of exporting a CSV and manually processing submissions, Buildorado automates the downstream workflow so data flows directly to your CRM, spreadsheet, Slack channel, or custom API.

Can I use Buildorado for internal tools and approval workflows?

Yes. Many teams use Buildorado for internal request forms such as IT tickets, PTO requests, expense approvals, and procurement workflows. Branch nodes let you route submissions to the correct approver based on department, amount, or any other field value. Action nodes send notifications to Slack or email, and webhooks let you integrate with your existing internal systems.
